Enjoy a full-time schedule—8 hours per day—while working closely with a dedicated team and supporting a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The district collaborates to keep travel between schools convenient and manageable.

Key Qualifications And Experience

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Competence in home health and healthcare environments a plus
• Previous supervisory experience or willingness to mentor a COTA
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Enthusiasm for working with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students across multiple schools
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Supervise and collaborate with a COTA, providing mentorship and support as needed
• Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all cases
• Travel between schools as assigned, with efforts made to minimize commute times
