Occupational Therapist School Setting in Doylestown, PA

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education by supporting preschool-aged students with occupational therapy services throughout the school year and ESY (Extended School Year) program. This contract opportunity is based in the Lower Bucks County region, working in areas such as Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown. The position begins with part-time hours during the summer and transitions to expanded hours as the academic year progresses, based on incoming referrals.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Occupational Therapist licensure, meeting all state requirements
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting (new graduates will not be considered)
• Demonstrated expertise working with young children, particularly in a preschool environment
• Proven ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group-based OT services to preschool students, addressing a variety of developmental and functional needs
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in alignment with state and school requirements
• Consult with teachers and families to support strategies that foster independence and participation
