Three Positions Are Currently Available
- Lake in the Hills, IL: Serve a caseload of 20 students
- Morton Grove, IL: Work with 20 students
- Rockford, IL: Caseload to be determined
- Valid OT or COTA licensure for the state of Illinois
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassion, patience, and creativity in helping students achieve their fullest potential
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and report findings
- Develop and implement IEP goals, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct intervention and consultation services for students with a range of needs
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services provided
- Educate families and school personnel on strategies and accommodations
- Adapt interventions to suit students’ diverse backgrounds and unique abilities
