Nuclear Medicine Tech - Hershey, Pennsylvania

Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1 years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with strong skills in PET/CT imaging and nuclear medicine procedures. The position is contract-based, starting June 2nd, with potential for an earlier start. You will work in a high-volume PET/CT department that performs up to 23 scans per day on a single scanner, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment ideal for honing specialized expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of PET/CT scans including skull base to midthigh, whole body, limited scans for infection, PSMA, NET, Cerianna, Amyvid, sarcoidosis, and myocardial perfusion studies.
• Administer IV and oral contrast media safely.
• Operate MEDRAD FDG injector to conduct precise injections.
• Manage hot lab duties related to radionuclide preparation and handling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal scan quality and patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow radiation safety protocols strictly.
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Current Nuclear Medicine certification with CNMT or AARTNM registry required.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CERT-NMTCB or CNMT) mandatory.
• Proficient IV start skills and experience with nuclear medicine hot labs.
• Demonstrated competence with MEDRAD FDG injectors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy PET/CT environment while maintaining patient care quality.

• Day shift, Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week.
• No on-call duties, holidays, or weekend shifts.
• Contract duration: 13 weeks.
