MRI Technician | Newton, Kansas

An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support a busy imaging department located in Newton, KS. This contract position offers the chance to work with advanced GE imaging technology in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Current MRI registration required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred
• Previous Level 1 trauma or critical care exposure is advantageous
• Comfortable performing MRIs and MRAs on all body parts except breast
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MRI units while ensuring quality imaging standards
• Perform routine and emergency imaging exams including MRIs and MRAs across a variety of body parts
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to provide accurate diagnostic information
• Adhere to department policies including dress code and safety protocols
• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record system efficiently
  
  

Schedule

• Night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM to 7 AM
