A healthcare opportunity is available in Webster, NY for experienced registered nurses specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry care. This contract position involves providing critical nursing care in a specialized hospital setting with a focus on cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret and manage complex dysrhythmias and cardiac drips including Amiodarone and insulin titrations
- Provide care for patients requiring IV insulin protocols, feeding tube management, and continuous bladder irrigation
- Manage central, peripheral, and PICC lines, along with blood product administration and heparin protocols
- Deliver care to ventilated patients, including tracheostomy and non-invasive airway management (CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC)
- Conduct wound care including Wound Vac management and surgical drain care
- Participate actively in rapid response teams and handle isolation precautions effectively
- Collaborate with in-house phlebotomy and PCT teams for patient care tasks
- Float as needed within the unit scope
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of recent experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or stepdown care
- BLS and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry certification required
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system preferred
- Ability to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM), with every other weekend availability
- Willingness to work call shifts as needed
