IR RN in Lowell, MA

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care in an interventional radiology setting focused on neuro and stroke patients
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips; demonstrate proficiency with tele monitoring
• Manage a caseload of 12-16 patients daily, maintaining an average patient ratio of 1:1
• Support critical care and Level I trauma procedures within a five-room interventional suite including CT and ultrasound-guided interventions
• Respond to on-call duties including nights, weekends, and one major holiday with a 30-minute callback time, utilizing on-call rooms if necessary
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology nursing with neuro IR and stroke expertise
• Ability to pass a telemetry test with 85% or higher on day one
• Preferred experience in critical care, neuro IR, and Level I trauma environments
  
  

Schedule

• AM shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts available
• 40 hours per week with a combination of 8s, 10s, and 12s
• No set day off; on-call shifts include one night per week and one weekend per schedule period
