Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care in an interventional radiology setting focused on neuro and stroke patients
- Independently read and interpret telemetry strips; demonstrate proficiency with tele monitoring
- Manage a caseload of 12-16 patients daily, maintaining an average patient ratio of 1:1
- Support critical care and Level I trauma procedures within a five-room interventional suite including CT and ultrasound-guided interventions
- Respond to on-call duties including nights, weekends, and one major holiday with a 30-minute callback time, utilizing on-call rooms if necessary
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology nursing with neuro IR and stroke expertise
- Ability to pass a telemetry test with 85% or higher on day one
- Preferred experience in critical care, neuro IR, and Level I trauma environments
- AM shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts available
- 40 hours per week with a combination of 8s, 10s, and 12s
- No set day off; on-call shifts include one night per week and one weekend per schedule period
