Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and manage infusion therapies safely and effectively
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effect management, and supportive care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient symptoms and respond promptly to any changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to professional standards per ANA and ONS guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts
- Outpatient oncology infusion experience required; minimum 1-2 years if no BSN
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential required within two years of hire or after 2,000 hours of oncology practice
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation and communication
- Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and practice both independently and collaboratively
