Key Responsibilities
- Administer outpatient chemotherapy and manage infusion protocols
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and symptom management
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards, organizational policies, and safety protocols
- Accurately document patient care and progress
- Uphold patient confidentiality and promote effective communication among patients, families, and clinical staff
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts required
- Outpatient oncology or chemotherapy infusion experience required
- Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) required within two years or after 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to work both independently and in a team
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Effective communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
