Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medication checking and verification
- Supervise pharmacy technicians during shifts
- Check and verify intravenous (IV) medications
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and communication
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of one year recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
- Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois
- Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy workflows and IV medication preparation
- Proficiency using EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Schedule:
- Contract position lasting approximately 13 weeks
- Dayshift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Rotating weekends
