An opportunity is available for a skilled histology professional with a strong background in laboratory histology techniques. This contract position offers a daytime schedule with a focus on precision and expertise in tissue preparation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination using histological techniques
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment relevant to histology procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control and safety standards
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to support diagnostic processes
• Document procedures and maintain accurate laboratory records
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in histology or related laboratory environment
• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
• Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) required
• Proficiency in laboratory histology methods and technologies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
  

Schedule/Hours

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  
  

This contract role spans 13 weeks and includes a 30-minute interview conducted via MS Teams.
