Key Qualifications
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certification to work in school-based settings
- Experience supporting elementary and/or high school students preferred
- Proven ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and meet deadlines
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students identified with needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, goals, treatment sessions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaboration sessions, and professional development
- Employ evidence-based interventions and adjust strategies as necessary
