Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Brookfield, CT Area
Pay: $23.26–$31.67 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 33 hours per week
Hours: 7:20 AM–2:20 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a middle school student throughout the school day
- Implement behavior intervention and support strategies under BCBA guidance
- Assist the student with managing behavioral challenges and developing appropriate replacement behaviors
- Support positive social, emotional, and academic outcomes
- Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the supervising BCBA
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the BCBA
- Maintain a consistent, structured, and supportive environment
- Promote student independence and positive behavior
Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous experience working with students or individuals with behavioral needs preferred
- School-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a BCBA and school-based team
- Commitment to supporting student growth and success
