Soliant is looking for a contracted English LanguageArts Teacherfor a school in the greater Calumet City, Illinois area for the 23-24 School Year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regularly meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and times designated.
- Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning practices effectively utilizing district resources.
- Prepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence of preparation upon the administrators request.
- Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior, consistent with their physical limitations.
- Employs a variety of instructional techniques and methods consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs andcapabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
- Strives to implement by instruction and action the district's philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Teaching Endorsement.
- Holds an earned degree in proper subject area from an accredited college or university.
- Has experiences and qualifications as deemed necessary by the Board of Education.
