Elementary Pre K School Psychologist - Milwaukee, WI

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications

• Valid certification and state licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with early childhood, elementary, middle, high school, and pre-K students
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Understanding of diverse backgrounds and student needs
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments for individual students
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address learning and behavioral challenges
• Provide direct counseling and support to students as needed
• Assist with the creation and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Partner with teachers and staff to cultivate an inclusive and supportive school environment
• Offer crisis intervention and support to students and staff as situations arise
• Maintain thorough documentation and records in accordance with school policies and confidentiality standards
