Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation services for a middle school female student.
- Support the student with a history of outbursts by implementing consistent routines, preparing for schedule changes, and using visual schedules to minimize disruptive behaviors.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective communication and support for the students educational needs.
- Active Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) license in good standing is required.
- Previous experience working in school environments, particularly with one-on-one assignments, is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage and anticipate behavioral challenges sensitively and proactively.
