Orientation Dates: 2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/24

Shifts: 12-hour Nights (Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights)

Location: Vanderbilt University Hospital (VUH) Main OR, 1000 bed hospital, Nashville, TN 37232

Duration: Travel Contract Ongoing

Job Description

Looking for an experienced CVOR Tech First Assist for a travel contract at Vanderbilt University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center in Nashville, TN 37232. Must be certified, have 2 years of CVOR experience, and proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting with Hemapro 2 or Vasoview 6 systems. Must be able to scrub for surgery and handle various specialties, including heart transplant surgery.

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Tech First Assist certification (NBSTA)
• 2 years of CVOR and heart transplant experience
• Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting with Hemapro 2 or Vasoview 6 systems
• Scrub experience and ability to respond to on-call (30-minute response)
• Must have COVID vaccination or exemption
