Key Responsibilities
- Assist in open heart surgeries and other surgical specialties as needed.
- Maintain nursing standards of care and build positive relationships with patients and their families.
- Participate in emergency on-call rotation every third week for a 7-day period.
- Support the surgical team and encourage collaboration among members.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of College Anatomy and Physiology I course OR certification as a Central Sterile Processing Technician OR completion of an approved Surgical Tech certificate course.
- Current certification in AHA BLS or Red Cross First Aid.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year recent experience in the specialty field. 18 months of experience considered if under highest professional license.
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM.
- Participation in emergency call rotation as outlined.
