COVR CVOR Tech in Vance, AL

Providing essential support in the Cardio-Vascular Operating Room (CVOR), this role focuses on delivering high-quality surgical assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The position involves working closely with patients and medical teams to ensure smooth operation of surgical procedures with a compassionate approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in open heart surgeries and other surgical specialties as needed.
• Maintain nursing standards of care and build positive relationships with patients and their families.
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation every third week for a 7-day period.
• Support the surgical team and encourage collaboration among members.
  
  

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of College Anatomy and Physiology I course OR certification as a Central Sterile Processing Technician OR completion of an approved Surgical Tech certificate course.
• Current certification in AHA BLS or Red Cross First Aid.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year recent experience in the specialty field. 18 months of experience considered if under highest professional license.
  
  

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM.
• Participation in emergency call rotation as outlined.
