Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based - 2026–2027 School Year | Full-Time | In-Person
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based opportunity during the 2026–2027 school year. This is a part-time, in-person position serving a manageable caseload of primarily elementary students with a small number of high school students.
Position Details
Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Schedule: 30 hours per week
School Year: 2026–2027
Setting: In-Person, School-Based
Caseload: Approximately 25 students
Student Population: Mainly elementary students with a few high school students
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, and classroom participation
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state OT license required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse student caseload effectively
