Behavioral Specialist in School Setting | Bear, Delaware

This opportunity is for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a K-12 student in a school setting focused on behavioral intervention. The role involves providing support to a kindergarten student exhibiting aggressive behaviors, requiring both clinical expertise and compassionate care within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide direct one-on-one support to address aggressive behaviors
• Assist with life-skills development, including toileting and bathroom support
• Collect and document data accurately for behavior tracking
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to promote a positive learning environment
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active or previously held Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
• Previous school-based experience supporting students with aggressive behaviors is mandatory
• Ability to work full-time hours from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday
• Comfortable with personal care tasks related to toileting/bathroom assistance
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
