What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler I position at Solero Technologies, LLC?
The Planner/Scheduler II will perform systematic reviews of supplier schedules to ensure adequate raw materials for component manufacturing and will provide manufacturing management with a sequence and priority schedule to ensure adequate inventory to assembly areas necessary to meet customer schedules. Responsible for coordination, integration and communication of the customer releases to the production planning system. Develops and maintains the production planning process (build and ship schedule) and ensures proper communication to our customer base, and from our customer to the production floor.
Ensure customer demand is accurately entered into the production master schedules
Work with supply line and manufacturing to compress lead times, reduce inventories, and smooth the progress of manufacturing execution
Process ECN and MPS changes timely and maintain purchase records in the MRP system.
Scheduling special builds for new product launches and following up on pre-production requirements
Manage system planning parameters by exception to control inventory and support production
Monitor, measure, and report on supplier delivery performance including coordinating the expedition of materials to the customers as required to meet customer demands
Participate in corrective action planning for deficient suppliers
Work collaboratively with Materials Focus Team (Buyers and Production Planners/Schedulers)
Maintain communications to ensure changes to requirements are identified, and to alert customers of problems in supporting their schedules and releases
Track finished goods inventory levels and have input into identifying inventory levels for finished goods.
Contribute to the development and implementation of site safety and health goals, objectives, rules and procedures; actively participate in the Global Star Safety Framework (GSSF) program, as well as, follow all EHS rules, procedures and policies

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience:
Minimum 5 years work experience in scheduling of manufacturing materials; experience in the automotive industry or in a global manufacturing company preferred
Must have excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines

Manufacturing Principles and Methodologies
Professional verbal and written communication skills essential
Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel
