About the Position
Solero is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including resident rooms, common areas, hallways, bathrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize surfaces as needed.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas to maintain a healthy environment.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety standards.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items to the appropriate supervisor.
- Handle cleaning products and equipment safely and properly.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and friendly attitude toward residents, families, guests, and coworkers.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
