Job Summary
Solerao Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our Key West portfolio. This role is essential in maintaining high occupancy levels, ensuring exceptional tenant relations, and overseeing the physical and financial health of the property. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative capabilities and a professional demeanor suited for high-end property management in a premier coastal market.
Key Responsibilities
- Leasing & Occupancy: Facilitate the leasing process by conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements in compliance with local and state regulations.
- Tenant Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for resident inquiries, resolving concerns promptly and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Financial Administration: Assist in the collection of monthly rents, management of delinquencies, and processing of accounts payable/receivable.
- Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with the facilities team to ensure timely completion of work orders and oversee the preparation of units for new move-ins.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate property records and assist the Property Manager in preparing weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
- Vendor Management: Liaison with external contractors and vendors to ensure property upkeep and capital improvement projects meet Solerao Group standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in residential property management or high-end hospitality management.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and local Florida landlord-tenant statutes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or OneSite) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Licensing: A valid Florida Real Estate License is preferred but not required at the time of hire.
