Server Position Summary
The Server plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. The Server is responsible for providing attentive, courteous service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.
Server Responsibilities Include
- Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner
- Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service
- Serve room trays as needed
- Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Adhere to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards
- Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
- Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
- Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing as needed
- Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
- Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy and procedure
Server Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable and service-oriented
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Must receive the annual Flu vaccine (excluding medical or religious exemptions)
