Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyse and manage expenses, providing actionable insights to drive cost efficiency and resource optimization.
- Analyse monthly and quarterly spending across departments, ensuring variance drivers are fully understood and recommending actions where needed.
- Improve forecast accuracy by identifying the drivers of cost changes and updating assumptions based on that analysis.
- Use the forecast to help function leaders make decisions and take action early when spending is off track.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to effectively communicate financial results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in financial reporting, working with business partners to resolve them.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automating and streamlining financial processes where possible.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (master’s degree a plus)
- Experience in financial analysis, ideally within a large, complex organization
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong comfort with large-scale data manipulation.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and manage projects with competing priorities.
- Proven track record of taking ownership, exceeding expectations, and handling increased responsibility over time.
- Critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.
- Clear, concise communicator who can distil complex analysis into actionable insights.
