Job Summary:
The Production Planner is a supervisory level position that organized and control production for a specific manufacturing area of the plant with their primary be focus being two days to 2 weeks out.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plans, implements and reviews the production schedule
- Develops and achieves department goals that align with corporate goals
- Champions Health, Safety and Environmental programs and compliance
- Champions Statistical Process Control and continuous improvement to minimize out of spec production
- Champions process improvements for both work process and chemical manufacturing process equipment and operations
- Works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, QA/QC lab, to achieve corporate goals
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associates Degree or higher in a science related field a plus
- 7 plus years of manufacturing experience
- Manufacturing supervisory experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladder and stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must pass respirator fit test
Work Schedule:
Day shift is typical. Position requires spending time on-call and response to requests for support during off hours, weekends and holidays. This includes emergency response.

Salary : $75,900 - $126,500
