Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Execution
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, managing priorities, agendas, and decision-making processes.
- Lead and support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, integrations, and operational rollouts.
- Represent the CEO in meetings when necessary and ensure follow-through on key actions.
- Partner with finance, operations, talent, and legal teams to align on company priorities.
- Monitor execution across multiple portfolio businesses and escalate risks or bottlenecks.
- Identify and implement best practices that can be shared across the group.
- Track KPIs across portfolio companies; synthesize performance insights for the CEO and board.
- Support post-acquisition integration and development of scaling playbooks.
- Prepare CEO communications, board decks, investor updates, and internal reports.
- Build bridges between Solen HQ, portfolio leadership teams, and external stakeholders.
- Spot inefficiencies and develop solutions that improve execution speed and quality.
- Promote Solen’s cultural values of simplicity, collaboration, and long-term thinking.
- 10 years of experience in management consulting, investment, corporate development, or operational leadership within high-growth software or M&A environments.
- Strong strategic and operational execution skills, with a track record of driving complex projects.
- Fluency across functions: finance, operations, legal, and talent.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity and build alignment.
- High discretion, judgment, and ability to manage sensitive information.
- Adaptability and ownership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Familiarity with SaaS financial metrics (ARR, churn, LTV) and financial modeling.
- Experience supporting or leading post-acquisition integrations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally between Utah, New York, and other Solen offices (Toronto, Lisbon etc,).
