Role:
A Housekeeping Runner is responsible for assisting and supporting the housekeeping department, to ensure the smooth operation of the department and working as a Team. They are expected to deliver excellent service to our teams and our guest.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all Safety and Security procedures to protect and ensure the safety of our guests, employees and assets.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule based on business needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with owners and guests.
- Report all maintenance deficiencies to Status Board.
- Maintain organization in housekeeping storage areas, supply rooms, and linen storage areas.
- Fulfill guest requests for additional housekeeping supplies.
- Resupply Guest Room Attendant carts and/or other associate requests as required.
- Perform all other job requests as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Six (6) months experience in some area of housekeeping or janitorial preferable.
- Basic knowledge on handling devices and radios.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, holiday and weekends.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Capability to understand fundamental English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to bend, kneeling and stretching most of the working day.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration and air quality.
