· Maui Banyan is located in Kihei on Maui's sunny south coast near to the golden sands of Kamaole Beach and is surrounded by coconut palms, the beautiful West Maui Mountains and the Island of Lanai and Molokai decorate the view.

· Maui Beach Vacation Club is situated on the southwest coast of Maui and is home to spectacular ocean views.

SUMMARY:

Manage all aspects of the maintenance operations for the Maui Vacation Clubs and AOAO through fulfillment of guest requests, owner requests and on-going preventative maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:    

· Maintain a flexible work schedule.

· Oversee basic repairs in the area of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, tile work, carpeting, and concrete.

· Ensure employees fulfill all guest requests in a timely manner.

· Proactively check for and address any areas requiring maintenance or repair.

· Ensure all invoices generated for the maintenance department are processed timely for payment.

· Ensure maintenance shop(s) are clean and organized.

· Ensure inventory of all supplies are at par levels.

· Must have working knowledge of MSDS, OSHA, HazCom and all applicable safety laws.

· Ensure all employees follow all safety procedures.

· Ensure proper training of all maintenance personnel.

· Recruit, interview, hire and monitor training of new employees.

· Appropriately document accidents and incidents.

· Ensure that operating costs are within budgetary guidelines. 

· Must have working knowledge of a 2-way radio system.

· Ensure that work tasks are divided up equally among maintenance engineers, leads, and painters and that they are completed in an expedient and timely manner.

· Create and maintain proper scheduling of employees. 

· Establish positive relationships with resort’s vendors.

· Ensure proper maintenance of the life safety systems.

· Perform all other job requests as assigned by management.

Requirements

· Minimum two years maintenance experience

· Minimum two years supervisory experience.

· Effective oral and written English skills.

· Must be proficient in Word and Excel. 

· Basic math skills. 

· Must have valid Driver’s License.
