Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications Knowledge of: Weaponless defense in order to satisfactorily complete the essential functions of the position. Basic reading and writing skills in order to complete reports with accuracy. Basic security procedures necessary to ensure a safe campus utilizing safe practices. Ability to: Use a two-way radio. Work independently in the absence of supervision. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Reinforce school rules with fair and consistent practices. Complete required course work as established by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services of the Department of Consumer Affairs. Education And Experience: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Some experience and/or training in security procedures is highly desirable.
