Sole Hire LLC is leading an exclusive search for an AutoCAD Drafter to join the Proposal Department of a confidential client in the EPC (Engineer,
Procure, Construct) industry. If you’re a detail-oriented professional with a
knack for AutoCAD and a passion for manufacturing processes, this role is your

This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $100,000 (not
guaranteed; depends on your education, experience, and how you present yourself

About the Role
As an AutoCAD Drafter in the Proposal Department, your work will involve
creating high-level design layouts and schematics that integrate into bidding
packages for manufacturing plants. You will collaborate closely with process
engineers to ensure accuracy and innovation in the designs. You’ll also handle
tasks like analyzing drawings, calculating volumes, and working on projects
that require cross-functional teamwork with internal teams and external
clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed layout,
elevation, and process schematic drawings for manufacturing plants.
- Convert PDF drawings to AutoCAD
and incorporate customer and supplier drawings into cohesive designs.
- Calculate volumes for stockpiles,
concrete foundations, and equipment footers.
- Design cross-sections and setting
patterns for kilns and dryers.
- Work on multiple proposals
simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.
- Collaborate with engineers and
report to the Proposals Department Manager.
- Occasionally assist the
Engineering Department with additional drafting needs.
Requirements
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
Engineering (required – no exceptions).
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D with
experience in SolidWorks.
- Reside in or near Denver, CO
(required – no exceptions).
- A solid interest in manufacturing
processes and plant engineering.
- Strong time management skills and
the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail
while understanding the "big picture."
- Ability to thrive in a
task-oriented position with strict deadlines.
