Junior Accountant
Location: In Office

Reports to: Senior Accountant
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Position Summary
Sole Fitness is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and basic general ledger entries. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles who is looking to grow within a fast-paced, operationally focused organization.
The Junior Accountant will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records and a smooth transition of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
- Assist with Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment application, and customer account follow-up
- Prepare and post basic journal entries
- Assist with account reconciliations (bank, credit card, and select balance sheet accounts)
- Support month-end close activities as assigned
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
- Assist with audits, reporting, and other accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
- 0–2 years of accounting or related experience
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP familiarity preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software; Microsoft Business Central experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Prior exposure to AP/AR processes
- Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Compensation
- $50,000 – $62,000, depending on experience and qualifications
Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
