Overview
Join our team to be a Mill work Associate. This position is full-time and normal operating days are Monday-Thursday, 10 hr shifts.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment t
- Handle materials efficiently using forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist and take lead in the setup and operation of a multi-rip saw.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Support the loading, unloading, and storage of materials with proper handling techniques
- Collaborate with team members on projects requiring precise measurements, cutting, and fitting
- Follow detailed instructions for manufacturing processes while maintaining high quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience with warehouse operations, manufacturing, or carpentry is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic machining techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Knowledge of materials handling practices within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
