Role Description
The Product Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned pharmaceutical products from development to market, ensuring that they meet business objectives. Responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as R&D and sales, and managing timelines for product launches. The role involves analyzing competitive products, devising marketing strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Somerset, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- New Product Launch (NPL) – Prepare internal launch documents setup (Fact Sheet, Labels, PI, SDS, HDA, product specific websites (where needed), Solco website),
- Update monthly Tear Sheets for current products
- Manage NPL communications – emails, PPT decks for leadership, meeting updates,
- Update and Maintain Product Catalog – current products, Brand-to-Generic Reference Guide, updates to WAC and AWP pricing, GCN and GPI numbers,
- Pricing notifications to the pricing guides (FDB, Gold Standard, etc.) related to new product introductions and/or changes to existing pricing,
- Marketing Messaging/Media Campaigns/ Copay Programs Reporting of Campaign Results (timing dependent on project timelines with vendor)
- Update and maintain the Product Master File
- Enhance, maintain, and update Solco’s LinkedIn page, product announcements, Solco attendance at upcoming meetings, etc.,
- Trade show management (Monthly calls with Sales team; Trade show registration; Calendar maintenance; PR/PO Requests; Promo material shipment; Scheduling)
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics or Finance.
- 3 to 5 years of Generic pharmaceutical experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and an ability to work across multiple priorities with diverse internal and external functional groups.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple short- and long-term projects, while meeting all deadlines.
- Ability to compile and interpret data correctly and effectively.
- Strong ability to identify/anticipate opportunities, challenges and roadblocks, while maintaining a solutions-focused approach and develops plans accordingly.
- Demonstrated understanding of sales and marketing terminology, tools, and related acumen.
- High level of computer office proficiency required, especially in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
