What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman and Laborer position at Solarise Solar?
Responsibilities:
- Patch, paint and texture sheetrock
- Patch and paint stucco
- Repair or replace damaged gutters
- Repair or replace damaged property caused by installers
- Perform project inspections when not doing handyman work.
Including setting up ladders and being on rooftops.
- Assist ground crew with trenching and ground screws.
Including hand digging trenches.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Clean driving record (recent MVR required).
- Must have experience driving and parking with trailers.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must have experience with stucco and sheetrock repair
- Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day and sit up to 4 hours per day.
- Must be able to work on rooftops.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
