Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager in the Solaris AFH business. The Business Development Manager MUST live in Eastern New York or New Jersey, near New York City and will be responsible for identifying potential clients and developing strategies to increase sales and meet/ exceed goals in the New York Metro and New Jersey area. They will also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and working closely with cross-functional teams. The Business Development Manager will need to have:
Qualifications
- More than 10 years experience in sales and business development
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think strategically
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct sales calls and travel to/from at a minimum 4 days per week
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in the paper products industry is a plus
- Excellent MS skills in Excel, PowerPoint and cloud computing
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a desirable plus
- Drive to learn quickly in a remote "self-learning" environment
