What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Solara Inn and Suites?
Solara Inn and Suites in Anaheim is currently looking for a Front Desk Agent.
Duties include:
- Checking In/Out guests
- Taking telephone calls and reservations
- Process guest registrations, including collecting payment.
- Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed.
- Maintain room status inventory.
- Communicate all pertinent shift information to Front Desk Manager and other staff.
- Maintain and clean the lobby as needed.
- Setup breakfast area
Minimum Experience, Education, Skill & Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work the hours of 3:00pm to 11:00pm (afternoon/evenings) and 7:00am to 3:00pm (mornings)
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must have sound judgment and discretionary skills and be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, etc.
- Must display very good organization and time management skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
This position will start as a part time position and will require working weekends.
