Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Solar Consultant to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential customers to promote and sell solar energy solutions, primarily through outside sales methods such as door-to-door outreach and community marketing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a vital role in expanding our customer base and advancing sustainable energy initiatives.

Duties

  • Conduct outside sales activities including door-to-door outreach and community marketing to identify prospective clients interested in solar energy solutions.
  • Provide detailed product presentations and technical explanations of solar systems tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate sales agreements, pricing, and financing options to close deals effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients through exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
  • Leverage multilingual skills (if applicable) to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by mentoring new team members and contributing to team goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, energy sales, or technical sales, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong background in marketing, negotiation, and customer service.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging with diverse communities.
  • Experience with door-to-door sales tactics is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
