What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Technician & Trainer position at Solar Works Energy?
Perform HVAC diagnostics, design, and installations (residential/light commercial).
· Train new and existing team members on best practices, products, and system design.
· Support the integration of solar, heat pumps, and smart HVAC technologies.
· Provide field supervision and ensure code-compliant, high-quality workmanship.
· Help build a next-level HVAC team and grow with us as we scale.
Requirements
EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) – Required
Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience
Strong design skills: load calculations, duct-work, zoning, etc.
Willing to work in the field and lead by example
Strong communicator, coach, and team player
Valid driver’s license and clean record
· Experience with Mitsubishi Hyper Heat or high-efficiency systems
· Knowledge of solar-HVAC integration
