What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Permitting and Applications Coordinator position at Solar Technologies?
Solar Technologies is seeking Permit Coordinator/Application Coordinator. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of administrative and communication duties including but not limited to permit applications, PGE Net Energy Metering applications, and rebate paperwork associated with battery installations.
The ideal candidate will be conversationally articulate, highly computer literate with experience utilizing MS Office programs Word and Excel. They will be a team player who is also comfortable taking charge of operational flow and advocating for the customer. They will be polished, professional and have strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing responsibilities and work assignments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Submit permit packages to local jurisdictions, both online and in person as necessary
- Pick up permits as they are issued by the local jurisdictions
- Track and document job permit status and notes in CRM (salesforce)
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary PGE information to process net energy metering applications
- Manage reports of recently installed customers and file for utility net energy metering promptly after sign off
- Assemble job close out packets following installation and permit sign off.
- Scan and upload project documentation
- Occasionally accept warehouse deliveries
- Display an approachable confidence while talking to customers and assisting them with their net metering process
- Communicate effectively with branch personnel using a professional, empowering approach
- Perform other duties and tasks as needed

Education and/or Work Experience
- Solar, Roofing, PC, Customer Support, or Sales experience
- Advanced Microsoft Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Average to Advanced Salesforce Skills
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Ability to learn and apply new software & programs
- Bachelors degree preferred, High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
- Must have a reliable vehicle. Mileage to be reimbursed for job related trips
