Responsibilities
About The Role

• Monitor Solar Landscape solar power plants daily, comparing output to expected and working to ensure all systems are performing at or above forecasted production
• Identify and report system underperformance and alerts to Asset Managers
• Investigate issues and initiate actions to improve portfolio performance by conducting preliminary diagnostics and escalating appropriately
• Track all system alerts and work under the direction of the Asset Manager to create work orders and coordinate support with the O&M team
• Optimize monitoring platforms to improve capabilities and response time
• Prepare system reports for internal and external reporting
• Optimize and improve reporting tools and templates
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual maintenance activities and reports
• Support warranty claims process, including processing claims and tracking progress
• Assist in onboarding new systems into the monitoring platform as projects transition from construction to operations
• Maintain organized documentation and assist in tracking performance trends across the portfolio
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• B.S. in STEM field preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to review and interpret data sets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills especially in Excel (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to read and interpret project and contract specifications
• Understanding of electrical and civil engineering drawings
• Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
• Ability to undertake complex tasks
• Project oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time
• Organizational and process orientation skills to clearly maintain project documentation, correspondence, and related files
