What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Sales Consultant position at Solar Flex?
Solar Flex is looking for talented people who are passionate about innovation, clean energy, and providing the best possible service to our customers. We are looking for high sales performers and reliable sales recruits to onboard with our Field Sales Divisions. These individuals are at the forefront of customer acquisition. You will be the staple of our sales process by working selected territories correctly, generating leads and soliciting qualified homes for solar.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- In-home and phone sales to warm prospects from both lead generation via personal networking. Utilizing direct marketing initiatives such as canvassing, referrals, and personal marketing to create new solar clients.
- Site surveying, recording customer electricity usage, developing rapport and understanding customer wants and needs to ensure you to close the sale
- Utilizing a variety of mobile phone/computer applications developing all the details for territory and sale, essentially simplifying prospective customer acquisitions and sales.
- Participate in weekly team calls, monthly team meetings, and training as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of In-Home Sales experience
- Lead generation via personal networking
- Business development / lead generation capabilities
- Outside sales position – will involve travel to client’s homes
- Self Starter, self-disciplined, passion for interacting with different types of people
- Articulate with excellent communication skills
- Able to analyze and be technically sound with numbers and technology
- High energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills
- Must be flexible working weekend and evening appointments
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Must be able to self-generate leads
- Applicants must be 18 years old or older
COMPENSATION
- Pay range: $70,000 - $200,000 with top reps exceeding $300K
