SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Welder that will provide preparation, handling and supplying of materials. Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications. Wage range $24-$28 per hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials
- Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blue prints and specifications
- Assist engineering with prints and documentation design
- Conducting daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions
- Basic problem solving techniques and troubleshooting; as related to welding component parts
- General cleanup and clearing of debris
QUALIFICATIONS
- Welding Certification: 3G and 4G -Required
- Minimum 2 year of experience as a welder
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
- Possess basic understanding of construction hand tools
- Positive professional attitude
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Ability to adapt to change
- Punctual and dependable
