Overnight Security Monitor

As an Overnight Security Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises during nighttime hours. You will monitor surveillance equipment, patrol designated areas, and respond to any suspicious activity or emergencies that may arise. This position requires keen observation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises and entry/exit doors for any suspicious behaviors by moving around the facilities throughout the evening.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to visually inspect buildings, grounds, and perimeters, checking for signs of unauthorized access, vandalism, or other security concerns.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including medical emergencies, fires, and security breaches. Call the proper authorities as needed to address these emergency situations
• Document all security-related incidents, disturbances, and breaches in a detailed report for review by management.
• Secure doors, windows, and gates at the end of each shift, ensuring that the premises are properly locked and alarmed.
• Coordinate with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 100 lbs , bending, stooping, computer work, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations .
