Service Electrician Solano County

Cordoza Electric is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Service Electrician to join our team. We are seeking someone who can work independently, solve problems in the field, provide outstanding customer service, and take ownership of every job. This is not an entry-level position—we're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates professionally, and can represent our company with confidence.

This position is a hybrid role. While much of your time will be spent performing residential and commercial service work, you will also assist with construction projects between service calls and have the opportunity to lead small crews when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Perform repairs, service upgrades, panel replacements, lighting installations, EV charger installations, generators, and other electrical work.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommended solutions, and pricing.
• Identify additional safety concerns and opportunities to improve customers' electrical systems without using high-pressure sales tactics.
• Complete service documentation accurately and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Lead and supervise apprentices or small crews on service and construction projects when assigned.
• Assist with commercial and residential construction projects during slower service periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Cordoza Electric with integrity.

Qualifications

• California General Electrician Certification preferred.
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read plans and electrical diagrams.
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and digital work order systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for support.
• Leadership experience or the desire to grow into a leadership role.
