Solana Tanning is seeking a motivated, dependable, and leadership-driven Assistant Manager to join our team! As the Assistant Manager, you will support daily salon operations, lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, and help drive sales performance. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive team environment, ensuring all company standards are met in cleanliness, professionalism, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily salon operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
- Support, coach, and motivate team members to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Handle opening and closing duties, including cash management and daily reporting.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and uphold all sanitation and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management — track, restock, and merchandise products as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Stay knowledgeable about tanning services, memberships, and products to support client needs and staff training.
- Communicate effectively with upper management and assist with scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
- Be first on call in times of emergency shift coverage.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in management or leadership, preferably in a salon, retail, or service-based environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Proven ability to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Responsible and reliable with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- 18 years or older with reliable transportation.
