Solagen Inc. has over 25 years of experience designing and building Commercial Heating Systems, and Industrial Combustion, Drying, and Power Generation Systems. We are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of steel and stainless steel components.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, layouts, and fit-up work.
- Safely and efficiently use a variety of tools and equipment.
- Operate machinery and assist with general shop and field duties as needed.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Tools & Equipment
- Hand and power tools (drill press, lathe, plate roller).
- Forklift operation.
- Oxy-acetylene cutting and plasma cutting.
Welding Processes
- MIG (hard wire & dual shield – all positions).
- Arc / Stick.
- TIG (preferred, but not required).
Additional (Preferred)
- CNC plasma table operation.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no tickets in past 3 years).
- Responsible driving history (may occasionally operate company vehicle).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Active, working cell phone.
- Be a US Citizen.
