Solace PT & Pelvic Wellness is a boutique pelvic health physical therapy practice located in College Park, MD. We provide hands on 1:1 care for people of all genders across the adult lifespan. Our work centers on pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum care, and a variety of pelvic floor conditions. Role Description
This is a part‑time, on‑site role (approximately 25 hours/week with the opportunity for growth) for a Pelvic Floor Physical/Occupational Therapist in College Park, MD. The Pelvic Floor Therapist will provide specialized evaluation and treatment for patients with pelvic health conditions. This includes comprehensive assessments, individualized plan‑of‑care development, and delivery of evidence‑based interventions within a 1:1, hour‑long session model.
You will work closely with patients to support symptom reduction, functional recovery, and long‑term self‑management while maintaining clear, accurate documentation and collaborating with referring providers when appropriate. Creating a calm, safe, and compassionate treatment environment is a core expectation of this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience treating pelvic floor conditions (preferred; motivated newer clinicians with strong mentorship goals may be considered)
- Strong skills in pelvic health assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment progression
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage patient documentation efficiently and accurately
- Active Maryland Physical Therapy license or eligibility for Maryland licensure
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practice
- Compassionate, grounded presence with the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for patients
