What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deployments Specialist position at Sola?
The Deployments Team is responsible for setting up merchant equipment, shipping equipment to merchants, tracking repair notifications using return merchandise authorization (RMA) numbers, and updating inventory management system.
To be successful in this position you will:
- Work with our inventory management system to deploy and fulfill accounts/equipment and orders
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Sets up the merchant equipment to be shipped directly to merchants – must be detailed
- Testing then shipping devices to merchant locations
- Oversee device refreshes and replacements, tracking deployment, replacement, and upgrades
- Communicate with vendors regarding equipment repairs, tracking repair statuses, and following up with vendors
Requirements and Qualifications:
- HS Diploma Required, Associates or higher preferred
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting involving inventory, deployment of equipment
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision using pre-set company policies, procedures, and standards as well as contractual agreements as guidelines for interaction and activity
- The candidate must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently both over the phone and in writing
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems
- Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar with both hardware, software, and web technology
- Highly detail oriented to ensure accuracy and proficiency in deploying equipment
