Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Prosthetist for a full-time role based in Carrollton, TX, we are primarily a mobile company with the ability to offer in office days. The Prosthetist will assess, design, and fit prosthetic devices according to individual patient needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting evaluations, performing gait analyses, collaborating with medical professionals, providing patient education, and ensuring a high standard of care. The role requires a commitment to delivering tailored solutions that improve patient mobility and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Prosthetics , with knowledge of their design and application
- Skilled in Gait Analysis to assess and optimize patient mobility
- Strong background in Patient Care with the ability to establish trust and provide empathetic support
- Experience in the Medical field and a strong understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics
- Certified Prosthetist (ABC) with appropriate state licensure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with patients and a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment in a hybrid work setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
